2026 Tour Artist Rosie Phillips

Rosie Phillips, a native Texan and resident of Meggett, South Carolina since 2010, spends much of her outdoor studio time in the fields and along the creeks of Edisto Island, where she finds inspiration for her oil paintings. Drawn to the beauty, color, and ever-changing light of the Lowcountry, she works both en plein air and in the studio, capturing the landscapes and atmosphere she loves most.

From her marshside studio and home in Meggett, Rosie paints with a strong sense of place, often enriching her work with unexpected color notes that add depth and visual interest. Her paintings invite viewers to step into the scene and complete the story each composition suggests.

Rosie’s work has been juried into numerous exhibitions, including shows at the Salmagundi Club in New York, and is held in private collections throughout the United States and Europe. She has been affiliated with the Oil Painters of America, the American Impressionist Society, Preserving A Picturesque America, the American Society of Marine Artists, and the Edisto Art Guild. She is also a juried Exhibiting Member and Past President of the Charleston Artist Guild.

Rosie's tour paintings will be available Tuesday September 1st through Thursday December 31st.

Rosie currently exhibits at Studio 151 Fine Art Gallery in Charleston and Edisto Art Gallery.
