DOCENTS NEEDED
Join the Team at the Edisto Island Museum

Looking for something fun, meaningful, and flexible to do just a day or two each month?
Become a museum docent and help bring the story of Edisto Island to life.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome and engage with museum visitors.
• Answer questions and share local history. On your first shift you will be paired with another docent, we have training material available and you will learn as you go.
• Serve as a friendly ambassador for the museum and community

No Experience Needed:
You don’t need to be a history expert—just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to connect with others. There’s no test, and training/support is always available.

Flexible Scheduling:

• Volunteer as little as one afternoon per month
• Easy shift swaps with fellow docents
